Dream of The Somnambulist
The sleepwalker shambles forward in the upper left quadrant of the painting. In his wake, the dream follows, by turns nightmarish and sweet.
This is one of my favorite paintings of this period. I think everything (the composition, the colors, the paint handling, etc.) came together quite nicely. I also think it is one of my most evocative pieces, if I do say so myself (and I do).
